The requirements to be met are detailed below:

1. Minimum technical conditions for lighting systems in Colombia. RETILAP.
2. Technical requirements to ensure the safety of electrical installations. RETIE, NEC, NTC 2050.
3. Robust mechanical structure, die-cast aluminum or stainless-steel housing. IEC 60598-1, IEC 60598-2-3, IEC 60598-2-5.
4. Reinforced joints, no loose parts. IEC 60598-1, IEC 60598-2-3, IEC 60598-2-5.
5. Anti-loosening fasteners such as locknuts, spring washers, Grower washers, anaerobic adhesives, and others. IEC 60598-1, IEC 60598-2-3, IEC 60598-2-5, IEC 60068-2-6.
6. IP protection minimum IP65 or higher. RETILAP, IEC 60529 / EN 60529.
7. IK protection minimum IK08 or higher according to the area to be lit. RETILAP, IEC 62262 / EN 62262.
8. Temperature range -30°C to +50°C or more; this will depend on the installation site and the climatic environment. RETILAP, IEC 60598-1, IEC 60068-2-X.
